The Mountain is the first album in the “Story Mode” series that will premiere in July 2020. It tells the story of an experienced traveler who, along with his travel companion, set off an a journey that will change their lives forever.

The Story Mode project, is a series of programmatic music, “film music without a film” so to speak, composed and performed entirely by Brad Black - featured on trumpet, flugelhorn, keys, synths, samples, drum machines and programming.
